Sisterhood

The Sisterhood of Congregation Jewish Community North Sisterhood reaches out to all women in our congregation. Our Sisterhood supports the important activities of CJCN. We also provide scholarships to Greene Family Camp, provide gifts to each of the Bar and Bat Mitzvah and Confirmands, we sponsor the Break Fast, the Hanukkah Dinner and the Seder, to name a few. These are some of the fundamental activities of our congregation that make CJCN a strong and vital Temple. Becoming a member of Sisterhood enables us to strengthen and enrich our Jewish lives. You’ll meet new people, make friends, become involved and have fun! In addition to our Temple work, we create enjoyable activities for our members to get together. We invite each of you to become a member of our Sisterhood. Our Sisterhood is a member of the Women of Reform Judaism, an affiliate of the Union for Reform Judaism. WRJ is the collective voice and presence of women in congregational life. Stronger together, we support the ideals and enhance the quality of Jewish living to ensure the future of progressive Judaism in North America, Israel and around the world. Questions?
