Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz can pumpkin
  • ½ c lentils
  • ¼ c butter
  • 2 onions
  • chopped
  • 5 c water
  • 5 heaping tsp vegetable broth
  • ¼ t pepper
  • 1/8 t thyme
  • 1/8 t marjoram
  • Few dashes tobacco

Directions

  1. Saute the onion in the butter until soft.

  2. Add all of the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer covered for 45 min.

  3. If possible, refrigerate overnight and serve at dinner.
