Chai Mitzvah

We are thrilled to announce the establishment of a Chai Mitzvah program at our congregation.

Chai Mitzvah is a new lifecycle event that follows a program promoting commitment to, and growth in Jewish living.

The program consists of four components:

Nine monthly group learning sessions on a variety of topics.

An independent study topic for the year.

A ritual or spiritual practice to take on for the year.

A social action activity to commit to for the year.

At the end of the year, participants will be part of a special shabbat celebration of their achievement!

 

Course fees total $36 for CJCN members, $54 for non-members.  There is no cost to register, and you may do so at any time, by visiting chaimitzvah.org

Classes will meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at CJCN, and will be led by Rabbi Jonathan Siger
