February 12- Sweetheart of a Sale at NAM Community Store on Jones Rd.

Save the date of February 12 (tentative) for a "Sweetheart of a Sale" at NAM's new and improved Community Store on Jones Rd. and Fallbrook. The sale will feature Valentine's Day treats, promotions, and a drawing for a door prize. More details to follow!

March 14-28- Art for the Hungry

Art for the Hungry kicks off NAM's annual Survival Over Summer food drive. The event takes place at Willowbrook Mall. Interested businesses, churches, schools, and groups commit to collect at least 1,000 non-perishable food items, to be arranged in a sculpture at the Mall. This year's sculpture theme is "Larger than Life." The sculptures are set up on the evening of March 14^th and taken down the evening of March 28^th. All food items go to NAM's Food Pantry. April 13- Dinner with the authors of Same Kind of Different as Me

NAM Resale needs Volunteers and Furniture Donations

Help NAM when booking your corporate events and conventions

Thanks to the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, businesses that book hotel rooms through the Bureau can designate a charity to receive a $5 donation per hotel room per night. For example, a business that uses 300 rooms for a 3-night convention would end up donating $4,500 to the charity of their choice! The rooms must be booked through the Bureau at http://www.visithoustontexas.com/gove_back/. Twenty-three area hotels are participating in the program.
